Theoretical Analysis on the Vertical Bearing Characteristics of Pile Foundations Containing Sediment Defects

Abstract Aiming at the situation that bottom of pile foundation contains sediment defects, theoretical analysis vertical bearing characteristics is carried out. Based on load transfer mechanism pile-soil system and based function elastoplasticity soil side weakening trifold line end pile, a calculation model for bored cast-in-place piles with slag defects under different conditions was established. The corresponding analytical formulas are deduced, accuracy reliability derivation verified in combination examples, which suitable indoor field tests. influence coefficient sedimentary defect single defined, parameters analyzed. law about length-diameter ratio, thickness defect, modulus elasticity obtained: With increase ratio length diameter, gradually increases tends to ease, effect foundations more convergent. As increases, factor decreases, capacity becomes discrete. elastic sediment, ultimate loss decreases. evaluated this way, provides an important reference further defects.
